"Not great when you're in a rush"
I tried using this when I was in a hurry, and it was way too hard to figure out quickly. I kept second-guessing everything because I didn’t want to mess up or feel like I was being tricked into doing the wrong thing. It might be fine if you have time to sit with it, but for a quick situation, it was frustrating.
"Usually reliable, but pricey when things go wrong"
I’ve taken the Arlanda Express a few times, and most of the time it’s on time, which is the main reason I use it. When everything runs properly, it’s really easy and takes a lot of stress out of getting to or from the airport. My last trip had a delay though, and at the beginning there wasn’t much clear information about what was happening. Not sure how to explain it, but for the price, I just expect it to feel a bit more dependable. It wasn’t a total disaster, but still disappointing. 3 stars from me

"Ticket Issue Turned Into a Stressful Hassle"
I bought my ticket online thinking it would make things easy, but when I got to the gate it wouldn’t validate. I was already trying to get where I needed to go, and suddenly I’m stuck dealing with this unexpected stress. The staff didn’t really help much, so I ended up having to pay again. it was really annoying and way more frustrating than it should’ve been

"Didn’t Feel Comfortable"
I just didn’t feel very safe there. It’s hard to explain, but the whole experience felt a bit off, and I couldn’t really relax the way I hoped I would.

"Card payment wouldn’t go through"
Tried to pay with my card and it just wouldn’t work, which was frustrating. I was already in a bit of a rush, and you know how it is when one small thing throws off your whole mood. I’d even stopped for coffee earlier and that went perfectly fine, so I know it wasn’t my card acting up. Anyway, having to figure out another way to pay was super annoying and made the whole experience feel more stressful than it needed to be

"Sorta slower than expected"
It sorta took longer than they advertised, so I was a bit disappointed. Not terrible, but definitely not as quick as they made it sound.

"Easy to Spot"
I’m usually bad with directions, especially when I’m running late and blaming my phone’s GPS, but this station was actually really easy to find. No stress getting there at all.

"Super convenient, but kinda pricey"
Used it while traveling for meetings it was fast and easy to figure out. The trains were clean, and the Wi-Fi was decent enough, not amazing but it did the job. Only downside is the tickets can get kinda expensive if work isn’t picking up the tab. I’d definitely use it again, just probably not every single time

"Good train, confusing airport directions"
The train itself was fast and clean, so no complaints there. The only annoying part was trying to figure out how to get there from my terminal. The signs weren’t very clear, or maybe I just missed something, but I ended up having to ask someone for directions, which took extra time since I had bags with me. Once I finally got to the platform, everything was simple. Overall it was fine, just not as smooth or obvious at the airport as I kind of expected

"Not the easiest option with young kids"
We were travelling with small kids, a stroller, and a couple of bags, and it just didn’t feel like families were really being considered. Getting around was more stressful than it needed to be, and there wasn’t much help or clear information when we needed it. The seats themselves were okay, but the whole experience felt rushed and a bit awkward with children in tow. For what we paid, I expected things to be a lot smoother. Next time, we’ll probably look for another option.

There wasn’t really a clear update when all the disruption was happening, and the staff seemed a bit confused about what was going on with this and that. I ended up getting stressed and nearly missed my flight because of it.

The train itself was fine. No real complaints there. But the staff... yeah, that part was disappointing. I asked one simple question, nothing complicated, and the response felt so rude. Like I was annoying them just by speaking. No smile, no real help, just this short, irritated answer. It kind of stuck with me for the rest of the ride. For what you pay, I don’t think basic courtesy is asking too much. the bad attitude ended up ruining the whole experience.

"I took the Arlanda Express after…"
I took the Arlanda Express after my flight the seats were bad. They felt way too hard and the angle was awkward, so my back was hurting after about 20 minutes. For the price, I expected at least basic comfort. What made it more frustrating was that nobody seemed to take ownership when it came to the overall experience, it just felt like something passengers are expected to put up with. Not a ride I’d be keen to repeat.

Just a heads-up for anyone planning to go: the seats are tight, and there really isn’t much room for bags. If you can, bring only what you absolutely need or use a smaller bag so you’re not stuck trying to squeeze everything in.

"Boarding was more confusing than it needed to be"
Boarding was a weird hassle for me. The signs were not very clear, and the staff, helpful they weren’t really. I felt kind of rushed the whole time and ended up asking other passengers where I was supposed to go. For just a simple airport train, easier than this boarding should be.

The train itself was really quick and clean, so no complaints there. It’s definitely convenient, especially if you’re in a hurry... but for such a short trip, the price felt steep. I’d probably only take it again if I didn’t have a better option.

Just a heads up for anyone buying tickets: double-check your time before you pay. I accidentally booked the wrong slot, and trying to change it was way more frustrating than I expected. The whole ticket process felt rigid, especially considering the price. I really wish they made the options clearer and allowed a bit more flexibility.

There was barely any room for luggage, and it felt like everyone ended up stuck in the aisle trying to figure out where to put their bags!!! It made boarding frustrating and crowded!!!

"Booking was a hassle with a screen reader"
I tried booking through arlandaexpress.com it was way more frustrating than it should’ve been. My screen reader didn’t work smoothly with the site, some buttons weren’t labeled clearly, and the keyboard navigation got stuck a few times. When I looked for help, it felt like there were just policy-type excuses instead of an actual solution. In the end, I had to ask someone else to book it for me, which is disappointing for a train service that should be easy for everyone to use.
